A new report called "Extracting the Facts: An Investor Guide to Disclosing Risks from Hydraulic Fracturing Operations" has been released by members of Investor Environmental Health Network (IEHN) and the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility (ICCR).
The 36-page guide was "inspired by energy companies' requests, in dialogues with investors, for enhanced guidance on disclosure of risk management practices."
Topics covered include: surface footprint, well integrity, chemical disclosure, water use, waste handling, air emissions, contamination avoidance, legal issues, and more.
